Content:
This course covers the following subjects: Drilling, Casing, Cementing, Well-head Equipment, Perforating, Tubing and Packer Systems, Well Testing, Remedial Cementing, Formation Damage, Well Stimulation, Sand Production, Deposits, Corrosion and Stress Cracking, Planning, Initial Completions and Future Workovers, Zone Protection, Completion and Workover Rigs, Artificial Lift Considerations.
With the number of topics that must be covered in the limited time available, the one-week presentation of the course presents an introduction and overview of the main topics of concern to those who deal with workovers and completions. A more detailed coverage is provided in the two-week version of the course. The two week course is only run in -house or if a company sends 6-8 people to this course.
For in-house presentations, this course may be customized to suit the needs of the client. Clients should allow sufficient advance time to permit proper preparation, including preparation of specific case histories where required.
